Help with money and debt

We can help with a range of money matters; whether you're worried about your finances - including paying rent and other bills - or simply looking for helpful money-saving tips and advice.

Help with money and debt:

We can help with a range of money matters; whether you’re worried about your finances – including paying rent and other bills – or simply looking for helpful money-saving tips and advice.

Help with benefits:

Being aware of the benefits you’re entitled to and how much you can claim isn’t always easy to work out. In fact, over £19 billion goes unclaimed every year. We’re here to help.

Help with household bills (gas, electric, and water):

Energy and water bills can be expensive, but there are many things you can do to lower your costs. Get details on how we can support you, along with tips to reduce your energy costs.

Support to live independently:

There are several ways we can support your independence, such as through home adaptations, our Careline service, sheltered, extra care, and independent living accommodation, and more.

Support with employment and training:

We offer a range of services to help you gain the skills, confidence, and motivation to get into work and/or training.

Help with safeguarding or domestic abuse:

We’re committed to working with others to ensure that people who live in our homes (or who receive services provided by us) are able to live free from harm.

Our UCAN centres can help with a little bit of everything

Our centres offer free support with job searching and training, internet and computer access, social activities and community groups, housing and benefits advice, health and wellbeing services, money management, and much more – all in one welcoming space.
